n-Butanol is a versatile chemical building block:
- Chemical Intermediate (Major Use): Ideally used to manufacture Butyl Acrylate (for water-based paints), Butyl Acetate (solvent), and Glycol Ethers.
- Plasticizers: Raw material for producing phthalate plasticizers like DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate), widely used in the plastics industry.
- Coating Solvent: Used as a solvent for dyes, resins, shellac, and varnishes. It prevents “blushing” in nitrocellulose lacquers and improves flow.
- Extraction Agent: Used in the production of antibiotics, vitamins, and hormones in the pharmaceutical industry.

For Orders ≤ $1,000: 100% in advance.
For Orders > $1,000: 30% T/T in advance, and the balance before shipment or against the copy of B/L. Irrevocable L/C at sight is also acceptable for bulk orders.
